The Bloodwatch , at the edge of the kingdom border in no man's land ' the forbidden zone'
The Bloodwatch was a series of long term mission fighter ships and research stations guarding the empty abyss of the border between the King's space and the forbidden zone' where the Xern station under siege sits.
The King prohibited any interaction from the outside world, no civilized parties would break this decree to risk infecting the remaining worlds, no trading or selling to the station food or supplies so the vampires trapped inside die out naturally along with their food source.
The bloodwatch guard have a scared duty to uphold the watch till the last vampire dries out and prevent escapes with all forces necessary.

Many called to the order live a simple life immersed in training, sparring and readying themselves mentality and bodily to the fight preparing herbs and vampire slaying weopendary from the Blacksmith Guild forge. It is home to the few remaining slayer and hunting orders known as the The Chosen.
Other stations are more technological working on drones and robotics to fight the monsters without contamination, while other smaller stations focused on a cure the contamination with research and study in high tech labs.
The Xern Station's red sun is kept in view of the main station ready to be used agonist them in a large sun chamber and other means of slow excution for prisoners from the coven who escaped and attacked the kingdom.
The King's daughter, Princess Sabel took personal interest in it and became its commander after the Xerns targeted her husband.
